Logistics and storage

Logistical operations play a key role in a successful trial. Mistakes made during planning the medical substance delivery or delays in customs procedures can significantly disrupt the trial process for multiple participants.

Before the project is initiated, our experts assess and develop a logistical plan, which includes the following aspects:

Obtaining permits for the import of researched drugs
Obtaining permits for the export of biological samples
Selecting courier services which comply with transportation aims
Selecting specialized storage facilities in regions
Selecting companies for medical substance and trial material utilization
Purchasing additional equipment and materials for the studies
Planning the arrival of substances and materials to storage facilities and research centers
Organization of sending of biological samples to the central laboratory

Transportation and storage are conducted according to the Sponsor’s instructions, maintaining temperature conditions from -70°С to +37°С, with the use of modern packaging materials, thermal containers and temperature sensors. Temperature condition control is conducted thoroughly and is documented. Qualified couriers are responsible for collecting biological samples from research centers.

According to our quality management system, our company selects service providers and products in a rigorous manner. Companies undergo a thorough selection, including documentation verification and, if necessary, a quality audit. We also regularly conduct audits for our providers in case any problems or risks arise.

We take into account the following criteria during provider selection:
